Many of the problems inherent in conventional tremolo designs stem directly from the type of fulcrum system employed. Consequently, developing a new, improved fulcrum system became a necessary, primary design objective. This goal was achieved by designing and subsequently patenting the Point-Cone fulcrum process, which due to its concentric nature and use of hardened steel parts, dramatically reduces fulcrum friction and wear, thus significantly improving overall system performance.
