Fitbit Review

Fitbit is a well-known app for health developed by its namesake owner. As an all-in-one application, Fitbit offers you full access to other company’s products, namely a plethora of wearables that help you make sure you are in good shape.

Features That Make Fitbit Shine (5/5)

With the help of the app, you can keep track of your heart rate, sleep schedule, physical activity, and, perhaps most importantly, food and water intake. Make your own activity adjustments according to your personal preferences.

If you want to gain or lose weight, choose the eating routine that suits you best — with a balanced diet, you’ll see real progress in a matter of weeks. In addition to that, you’ll get free workout plans, nutrition programs, and the ability to connect and then challenge your friends to stay inspired. There’s a 90-day free plan which gives you more cool features and personal guidance.

What About Design? (5/5)

Fitbit can boast a brisk and colorful interface. The right font is complemented by cool charts and a superb gamma of colors. Icons appear to be in the right place, too. Thus, Fitbit looks ridiculously simple and at the same time, sophisticated. Clearly, it’s 5 out of 5.

Simplicity and Usability (5/5)

The layout of the app is super intuitive — you won’t have to guess much. The home page shows you stats of the activities you do — check your calorie score, heart rate, sleep hours, and distance covered per day. When you tap on a certain icon, you’ll see deeper statistics of the last days or weeks. Of course, all the features are customizable. In the top left corner, you can add or remove activities depending on what you need.

Compatible, Though Potentially Dangerous? (4/5)

Run the app on Apple (iOS 12.2 or higher), Android (OS 7.0 or higher) or Windows 10 devices. However, you may have problems with Huawei and Xiaomi devices because of Bluetooth issues.

In terms of security risk, Fitbit doesn’t seem to be of a particular danger. Yet there’s been some commotion concerning health issues. Some people dismiss Fitbit wearables as devices potentially dangerous to health because of emitting radiation. Developers assured that the wearables are absolutely safe, though other opinions aren’t to be disregarded either.

We cannot but recommend the app. Great functionality, intuitive interface, and various challenges outweigh any possible disadvantages and make Fitbit an absolute priority for those who are health-conscious and want to stay physically fit. Surely, the application deserves 5 out of 5.

  • Competitive challenges
