Fortnite Review

Fortnite is a 3rd person battle royale shooter by Epic Games, Gears of War, Bulletstorm, and Unreal Tournament. In this game, you can create a unique avatar and confront millions of players from all over the world on a large multiplayer arena. Fortnite will challenge your survival skills, speed of reaction, and strategical thinking. You can start playing completely for free on your PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.

Royal Battle Royale – 5/5

Fortnite gameplay is based on a classic battle royale invented by PUBG developers. At the beginning of each online match, you have to land on an island from a large flying school bus and try to survive with bare hands. Weapons and loot are scattered around the island, so you have to be quick and grab the best gun as fast as possible. Ninety-nine other players will do the same and try to shoot each other, so you have to be very attentive and think more quickly than your opponent. It's the only way to win a match as your aim is to remain the last player alive.

Style & Performance – 5/5

Fortnite visuals are powered by the proprietary engine of the developer, Unreal Engine 4. As a result, the game offers optimized performance in the multiplayer and excellent visual performance on all supported machines. Unlike most modern shooters, the game is far from realism, but its funky art style is unique and catchy. The game looks very good on all devices. However, if you want to achieve the highest detalization and resolution, you should play it on PC or consoles.

Control Freak – 5/5

Epic Games used all its experience gained in the development of their previous cybersport titles, such as the Unreal Tournament series, to make the most dynamic online shooter ever. The game features a basic TPS control scheme and supports all popular input types. PC players can use keyboard/mouse and gamepads, consoles support native controllers, and mobile devices support both touchscreen and Bluetooth/USB controllers so that you can take part in competitions with top convenience.

Infinite Replays – 5/5

This game is probably one of the most addictive in history. Developers keep adding loads of new content every two months and regularly upgrade the game's technical part. Start playing, and it will be really hard to stop!

We recommend!

Fortnite is one of the best battle royale games ever. It has everything you'd expect to see in a TPS multiplayer shooter and much more. Besides, it gets better after updates every two months, which means zero boredom over time.

  • Up to 99 players per battle
  • Free on all devices
  • Fast-paced gameplay
  • Content updates come out every two months
  • Unique mechanics
  • Not for fans of realism
  • It can be too addictive
